Models @ 2017 Tony Awards

A handful of models hit the red carpet at the 2017 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 11) in New York City.

Candice Swanepoel: While we just recently saw this Prabal Gurung Fall 2017 gown on Sofia Boutella, Candice gave it all new meaning by removing the long-sleeve shirting to fully reveal the glossy bodice piece. While it did still play the sheer game, it did so with sophisticated taste and sultry glamour. This was a far more successful outing for the design.

Alek Wek: Alek kept her boot game going strong with these Oscar de la Renta black crystal embroidered suede ‘Frederikke’ thigh high boots that stole the show. The Oscar de la Renta Fall 2017 asymmetrical LBD was simply the chic backdrop, with an Oscar de la Renta ‘TRO bag finishing the ensemble.

Liu Wen: Posing with Zac Posen, the designer of her dress, Liu proved the perfect model—and the belle of the ball. This Fall 2017 floral-printed ball gown exuded a grown-up, fairy-tale sensibility that had all the dreamy romance a girl could want.

Carolyn Murphy: With an air of all-American glitz, Carolyn’s Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 draped dress was all about laid-back luxe.

I don’t like anyone here. Candace looks good but I don’t like the dress for the Tonys. Alex’s boots are horrible and the other two are meh.

+1. Candice and Carolyn, at a different event, maybe (and different from each other).

Don’t like anybody very much, though Liu styled her otherwise very dark and heavy grown beautifully, so kudos for that. Oh, and kudos for Candice because that dress looked downright ugly on Sofia and she made it look somewhat great, even if it remains dated and uninspired.

Candice looks incredible! Alek is always so unique, and she definitely brought the fierceness. Not a fan of the other two, though. Liu Wen’s gown is a bit dowdy, and Carolyn’s dress shortens her.

Alek looked so freaking cool and glam. I loved Candice despite the sheerness. She’s a goddess and the gown la interesting.

Liu Wen stands out, although I’m not excited about the color scheme, it’s too fall.

Alek’s boot game is scary, it’s never really flattering or incorporated into a look well.

I don’t like Candice’s outfit, such a classy, non-try hard event – except for her.
The others are nice, Liu looks beautiful and I’m intrigued by Alek’s looks.

Liu Wen is my favourite here.

Carolyn looks beautiful too, but a little underdressed.
