Rachel McAdams In Johanna Ortiz – 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton

Rachel McAdams put her best fashion foot forwards on Thursday (June 8) at the American Film Institute’s 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton in Hollywood.

Proving just how pretty floral prints can be, the actress donned a Johanna Ortiz Fall 2017 gown which celebrated colour and femininity.

She embraced the ruffle trend with an elegant bow detail on the shoulder and a tiered flared skirt. The contrasting black ties, underneath the bust, added some definition and a break from the teal tones.

I love the less is more approach she took with EF Collection and Graziela Gems jewels too.

Her wavy tousled hairstyle, which is very of the moment, was the perfect finishing note, wouldn’t you agree?

I probably could have done without the ruffly skirt (and dusty pink sandals instead), but she does look cute.

No to the skirt,it would’ve been a perfect look with sleek trains

Rachel McAdams is the perfect combo of beauty, grace and talent. She couldn’t look more beautiful if she tries, and this Johanna Ortiz offering perhaps take the spot as the cream of the crop. Love the teal blue hue against her milky skin tone and her graceful posture sells this look to me immediately, SLAY Rachel SLAY!! Head to toe PERFECTION indeed!!

The autumnal colors are a bit heavy for the season, but the gown is perfect on her and her styling is fab, this is beautiful.

I am finding fashion to be very disappointing these days and this dress is a reason why. There is really no clear vision here–it is a total mish-mosh of ideas–floral print, tiered skirt, big bow on the shoulder, plunging neckline–there’s no theme or vision. She looks pretty, but no one could say that the looks we have been seeing in the past several months show any kind of strong vision, or any particular style or taste.

Wonderful. It feels a bit too bare around the neck, maybe, I miss a statement earring like the lookbook proposes. But that’s just nitpicking, she looks divine. Straight to my BDOTW list.

This is lovely! Rachel’s style can be a bit hit-and-miss, but this dress is dramatic without veering into tacky territory.
