Zoe Saldana In Roland Mouret – The Navy Seal Foundation Benefit

Zoe Saldana attended the 2017 Los Angeles Evening of Tribute Benefiting the Navy SEAL Foundation on Thursday (June 1) in Beverly Hills, California.

You might be surprised to learn that her top and skirt hailed from the Fall 2017 collection of Roland Mouret, as we normally associate the designer with a more streamlined, precise silhouette with contoured, tailored pieces.

This is a dress meant to be in movement with the flowy, draped effect and the slit at the side. Seen static, the folds through the centre could be perceived a bit overbearing.

Rather than wear the runway’s blue shoe, she donned the Aquazzura ‘Wild Thing’ fringed suede sandal, bringing in the blue hue with her clutch. A sleek ponytail and red lip were the right finish to counterbalance the looser statement.
