16th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball Red Carpet Roundup

While Zendaya channeled retro elegance for the 16th annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on Saturday (June 3) in Brentwood, California, the other stars in attendance chose their own distinct routes of glamour for the occasion.

Jaime King: For Jaime, that meant an embellished Miu Miu Resort 2017 midi dress that took cues from the ’90s rave scene in its smattering of crystals and its printed feather motif. Styled with equally crystallized shoes, this ensemble would make any magpie jealous. I actually loved the free-wheeling sense of energy the look brought to the purple carpet that it ironically matched.

Halle Berry: Halle had plenty of glitz in her Gosia Baczyńska Spring 2017 sequined dress and metallic Yeon coat, which shone an even brighter light on her bump that she showed no shyness in flaunting. Yet, as tends to be the case with Halle’s looks lately, the overall effect was quite dated. Removing the jacket and the sheer turtleneck piece from the dress—plus a sleeker ‘do—would have been a step in the right direction. Jewels from Eva Fehren, Ileana Makri and Sylva & Cie completed her look.

Rebecca Gayheart: Inspired by the Grecian goddess look that used to be so prevalent, Rebecca wore a draped white Derek Lam Fall 2010 gown.
