Sara Sampaio In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sara Sampaio attended the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ on Wednesday (May 17).

For the occasion, she wore a dramatic Zuhair Murad Couture gown from the Spring 2017 collection.

The plunging neckline and dramatic bell shape of the gown only amplify the intricate detail work of the beading. And of course, how can you not note that the beading is in the shape of fireworks? This is definitely a stunning fashion explosion on the red carpet.

I do however miss the peplum detail from the runway–I understand why she opted against it, since it could have come across bulky and awkward for real life wear, but since Cannes is a place for drama and risks, I wish she would have ‘gone there’!

Diamond jewels and a long, loose braid keep this look equal parts elegant and modern, and I’m a fan!
