Burberry Celebrates The Launch Of The DK88 Bag

Burberry-wearing beauties came out in force to celebrate the launch of the Burberry DK88 Bag, hosted by Christopher Bailey, at Burberry Soho on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.

Ruby Rose: I always look forward to seeing what Ruby has to offer on the red carpet, and her dynamic style took another cool-girl turn with this Burberry ensemble. It was like fashion’s very own Oreo cookie, with the crisp precision of black, menswear-inspired tailoring enveloped by the rich creaminess of a dramatic ivory cape. I love the metallic finish the handbag brought to the look, too.

Ellie Goulding: Laden with rich, textural embellishment, this patterned Burberry frock was only in need of a sleeker updo.

Serena Williams: Serena continued her tip-top pregnancy style with a vamped-up, lacy Burberry wrap dress in which she defined her burgeoning bump with a snakeskin belt.

Olivia Palermo: As Olivia has always had a way with accessories, she put them to use with Burberry’s studded booties along with a super-embellished mini-handbag that was the real star of the show. However, the edginess of these two pieces registered a bit aggressively for the brand’s white origami dress and cozy, cream-coloured sweater.

Peyton List: Instead of a traditional LBD, Peyton opted for the same effect in a little white Burberry dress accented by metallic heels and a jewel-toned clutch.

Jourdan Dunn: With a more boho-style, relaxed-chic mood, the model paired the classic heritage of a Burberry trench with the floral-embroidered femininity of the frock underneath.

Ruby won the Burberry round-up for me. How about you?
