Leslie Mann In Chanel Couture – 2017 Met Gala

Leslie Mann attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) .

Not everyone stuck to the theme, but at least I could hang onto one intriguing element or be swept away by the romance of the look like Elle Fanning.

Unfortunately I was totally underwhelmed by this Chanel Spring 2016 Couture look. Bored to be more precise.

Leslie has had many magic red carpet moments, yet this wasn’t one of them.

I don’t think Leslie / Chanel is a good pairing.

I love Leslie and this is not a bad look, but I expect more from her.

I agree. For Couture, this looks faded and wilting.

Nothing special but she looks nice.

Princess Caroline of Monaco wore this same gown to last year’s Rose Ball. I found it boring on both of them.

This looks terrible on her but it’s lovely on the model.

I’m liking this a lot more than you are, FC. Chanel rarely excites me, but I do appreciate the lovely Grecian drapery of the bodice and the woven appearance of the skirt, and I do just LOVE the thirties influence. If anything I wish it wasn’t such a drab hue, but I still think Lesley looks typically beautiful.
