Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Between the 2017 Time 100 Gala in New York City, to a Hollywood premiere and a special screening in London, there were plenty of reasons for the men to be out in force on Tuesday (April 25).

Riz Ahmed: I applaud Riz for stepping outside the navy and black box to wear this camel Prada Spring 2017 suit—and to wear it so well—at the Time 100 Gala. However, I do question the black dress shirt and brown loafers.

Orlando Bloom: At a special screening of ‘Unlocked’ in London, the actor was casually sharp in a Dior Homme blue suit enhanced by the patterned shirt underneath that precluded the need for a tie.

Ryan Reynolds: Also at the Time 100 Gala, Ryan went for a more classic route in a Brunello Cucinelli navy tux that was handsomely polished for the occasion.

John Legend: The seeming droopiness of that oversized bowtie pulled down this black Gucci suit, which landed on the underwhelming side for me.

Max Minghella: Speaking of lacklustre, Mike’s Prada suit at the Hollywood premiere of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ was more corporate than cool—and the pants needed a good tailor, too.
