Harper’s Bazaar 150th Anniversary Celebration
Harper’s Bazaar hosted its 150th Anniversary Party, presented with Tiffany & Co., on Wednesday (April 19) in New York City, where a number of the magazine’s favourite faces came out to celebrate.
Iman: I love how the supermodel’s Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 jumpsuit was enhanced by a satin-accented, floor-sweeping train for extra drama on this special night. Plus, the olive colourway was stunning on her.
Coco Rocha: Paying homage to Tiffany blue, Coco struck a pose in a Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2017 embellished gown. I was getting a distinct futuristic-glam mood with this moment, given the exaggerated hip, her bold brow, and a platinum, pompadour-inspired ‘do.
Doutzen Kroes: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 one-shoulder gown might be called minimal, but it achieved maximum impact with its slit-to-there aesthetic. Echoing the runway’s barely there styling, including the slick-back ponytail, Doutzen’s main accessory here was her lithe set of pins.
Kendall Jenner: Also going for a leggy look, the model’s Redemption Fall 2017 plunge gown showed just enough skin to stay on the sophisticated side. With her embellished heels, sleek bun and striking earrings, I liked this dress far better on Kendall than its original presentation.
Demi Moore: Between the grommet-accented white shirt and the leather wrap skirt, this Monse Fall 2017 ensemble nodded to a tough-chic sensibility. However, it could have used one of those sleeker ’dos and something more inspiring than black pumps.
Grace Elizabeth: Understated bohemian elegance formed the undercurrent of this Roberto Cavalli Resort 2017 subtly embellished, cutout gown.
