Elisabeth Moss In Alex Perry – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Washington Preview

Elisabeth Moss attended the Washington D.C. preview of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ on Wednesday (April 19).

Without the dramatic sleeve, this crystal-studded Alex Perry Spring 2017 dress took on more conservative proportions that were suited to the event and Elisabeth’s style—although a cutout back detail contributed subtle allure.

Topping the look with a blue ACLU ribbon, she also wore silver metallic heels for added zing, however, I would have skipped the ankle strap to lengthen the leg line.

She doesn’t look bad altough that neckline doesn’t favor her body type ( short neck ) and the shoulders pads make her a bit square. Reminds me a bit of a 40ies secretary attire.
The original version is horrid, kind of Blade Runner replicant.

      Agree on everything.

Yep. The neckline isn’t the best for her. And those shoes shorten her legs…

I’m not sure the original dress is so bad (although, yeah, it’s bad, hahaha). The thing is, with that extreme photoshopping that makes women’s legs appear ridiculously long, nothing can look good. That model in the picture could be the subject of nightmares.

I wish she wore the model version.
Still, the dress looks good on her but the shoes are not working here.
