    I chose Kate Bosworth! lol
But for the guys both looks are great.
I find Emmas look kinda boring with great hair n makeup though. The dress is ok. Just sorta there. I like Banks dress but I find the hair really sloppy looking. And maybe the sheer thigh part is bugging me a bit.

Catherine, you didn’t post the winners of last week.

Dear Catherine! Will you post the best dressed from the previous week? If I’m not wrong you didn’t post it. Thanks!

      E. Banks was also my pick. Emma looked great but nothing really special for me. Glad to see Elizabeth’s look up there as well

Emma and Elisabeth – both were great and perfectly deserving imo. Between the two, however, Emma’s look felt more special. The Givenchy Haute Couture gown was truly stunning and special – the subtle transitions from cream to gold to bronze, completed with divine crystal beading, were exquisite, and with its vintage reference, complete with the most STRIKING styling we ever see (those stellar hair/makeup and one-of-a kind earrings!), the look as a whole was more exceptional and iconic type (what I also liked is that the fringe is very much on-trend which also made Emma’s look feel fresh), whereas it was another gorgeous embellished gown from Elie Saab with the standard deep plunge-full skirt with a bit of sheerness combo, worn very well by Elisabeth, and if I had to critique that belt felt a bit harsh.

Andrew Garfield was a clear pick in menswear – from the top-notch stylishly cut suit to the impeccable hair, bow-tie and connecting black buttons, and the perfectly chosen two-toned shoes, he was, without a question, best dressed among men.

I agree with you on Emma’s look. I think it might be one of those iconic Oscar fashion moments that’s going to be remembered for years. Facts like this being Riccardo Tisci’s last design for Givenchy can only help with this being long remembered. And yes, her styling and hair and make-up are pure perfection. It’s easily the best beauty look moment of the year so far.

The styling was really incredibly done, and the gown itself was exceptionally refined without any excessive detailing – Emma’s look truly came together as a whole both in terms of execution and thematically (it was really made for her and for the occasion). I didn’t even have to see it in motion – I just clicked on the image and was instantly stunned – if the look is perfect, it’s perfect. (and this is the most beautifully done fringe).
