2017 Oscar Parties Model Roundup

More models were also spotted at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here is a snapshot of looks they strutted out.

Karlie Kloss: While her Naeem Khan Fall 2017 gown stayed true to her minimalist red-carpet M.O., the sparkle of embellishment and a seductive thigh-high side slit brought it to life. She styled the look with a Roger Vivier Envelope Flowers clutch. I actually much preferred this look to her first.

Joan Smalls: I would argue that the enticing, dark sapphire hue and the precision-cut sharpness of this Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 top and skirt didn’t need the multi-hued choker or the magenta eye makeup.

Jasmine Tookes: With a sexy spin on a classic, one-shoulder gown, the model wore a black Thai Nguyen Atelier Fall/Winter 2017 sheer gown dripping in fringed embellishment and styled with Stuart Weitzman ‘Goforth’ sandals.

Nina Agdal: I have to say that I can find precious little about this cerulean blue Zuhair Murad Fall 2016 Couture sheer lace dress that I like. It just translated as dated and done—and it didn’t bring out Nina’s natural beauty.

Toni Garrn: File this Jonathan Simkhai Resort 2017 ensemble under one of the more directional looks of the night, as the desert-warrior look put forth a sportier spirit despite the peplum train.

Selita Ebanks: Proving that her legs go on for days and days, she wore an embroidered SemSem gown that was all covered up save for that one leg. Lorraine Schwartz diamond interlocking tattoo earrings played with the patterning in the dress.

Josephine Skriver: The glittering nude Pamella Roland gown, topped off with a Bvlgari necklace, could have much benefited from some makeup—a dramatic eye, a flush of colour at the lip, anything.

Stella Maxwell: She wore this metallic goddess gown from the Roberto Cavalli Cruise 2017 collection with sultry panache. Nirva Modi jewels completed the shimmering, cutout look.

Shanina Shaik: Rather than sheer lace, we saw sheer geometry in this sequined Kaufmanfranco gown. I do love how she coloured outside the lines with her styling and brought in pops of bright magenta with her Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Devi Kroell clutch. Simple black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals rounded out the ensemble.

Adriana Lima: Radiating with gilded glamour, the supermodel donned an Elisabetta Franchi embellished, keyhole gown styled with golden Casadei shoes. Despite the allover bronze, it still maintained its allure.

Abbey Lee Kershaw
: A demure look by her standards, she wore a black Rhea Costa Pre-Fall 2017 gown with John Hardy and Tasaki jewels delivering her personalized touch of punk-rock edge.

Kate Upton: Despite the fact that this was a custom Thakoon piece, the girls seemed just a bit snug. She delivered an old Hollywood glam touch in her golden waves, red lip and Nirav Modi jewels.

Chanel Iman
: The electric-blue zing of this Zuhair Murad Couture gown was entrancing, but the dress itself was nothing special. It would have likely seemed less dated sans the belt.
