Viola Davis In Armani Privé – 2017 Oscars

Viola Davis was the ultimate lady in red at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

Rocking a fresh new ’do, the actress wore a custom Armani Privé gown.

Bold colour has always worked for Viola, and this look was no different.

The crimson hue is breath-taking against her skin. Factor in the elegant halter neckline and draped shoulder detail and I am locked in heaven.

One of the best of the night and one for her hall of fame.

The selection of the shiny silver clutch against the gold jewels didn’t go so well, but everything else is perfection.

The color looked spectacular on her last night. It was almost electric. And the fit is impeccable. Total winner in my eyes!

Viola Davis tend to stick to her usual red carpet formula— bright colors, and it always pays off as it complemented her dark glowing skin perfectly!! I love the structural cold-shoulder bodice and the coral red hue is awesome!! Congrats on the Best Supporting Actress win, and what a way to end the award season with a spectacular bang, well done Viola!!

I wish she’d kept the blue Michael Kors for the Oscars instead. That was her best look this award season.

It’s about time Viola is dressed by a premier designer! Stars of Viola’s caliber should only wear Armani Prive, not um, Emma Roberts.

I am all about the Hollywood Hierarchy. Earn the clothes.

Ya. I agree with most everyone else. The dress is perfection on her. Best red of the night. And yes, the gold/silver clash is distracting n baffling.

Everything is perfection about this except the clutch.

    She looks great and younger!

The fit is superb, the sinuous line giving her a flawless hourglass figure. The red is tdf. Love the dress unreservedly. But yeah, that clutch fights the gold jewelry. Must ignore that eyesore.

The silver/gold thing confuses me as well, but the gown is major on her.

I liked it and I loved her hair!

She’s bringing it! The color is spectacular and I love the design, it all fits and suits her impeccably, and her ‘do adds style. But yes, the silver clutch clashes with the gold jewels.

My first Wow of the night but i hace to admit that the clutch is just wrong ?
