Three days after the event I only remembered Taraji. Quite a quiet one this year. I missed Cate, Penelope…

  2. Lancel March 1, 2017 at 16:06 #

    1. Emma Stone
    2. Isabelle Huppert
    3. Hailee
    4. Taraji

But I have to add that these oscars were such a disappointment… Not a single look was breathtaking (based on my personal tastes of course). I adore timeless looks and elegant simplicity but I can’t say that there was any of that this year.

Since when was being tasteful, classic and timeless, considered boring or not memorable? It’s like it’s a sin to want something that will look great when they dig that Oscar pic up in 30 yrs.

fashion is about being tasteful, but, in my opinion, is not only about being tasteful. It also involves taking risks, pulling off an edgy look or pushing your own boundaries. I think that is partly why we love Cate Blanchett, who is never afraid to step into new territories. Nobody would look very bad in dresses we see here in this poll, but lets be honest, they are not memorable. Which one do you think is more memorable, Nicole Kidman in red balenciaga or Nicole Kidman in orange Armani?

I’ll remember Emma. An exceptionally exquisite look, without any excesses or a slightest imperfection.

3- Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Ferretti

This was quite an underwhelming red carpet. I was torn between Viola and Taraji, but voted for Taraji in the end. She was sexy and glam and gave me the wow moment of the evening.

Fabulous coverage as per usual FC. I am so so glad you are back 🙂

  9. alvarospain February 27, 2017 at 16:34 #

    I miss Octavia Spencer here.

  10. Melissa February 27, 2017 at 14:36 #

None of the above. This was one of the most underwhelming Oscars in a long time. No color. No major couture moments. Blah.

Janelle for the win!! Thanks for the coverage

    Janelle! Great coverage as usual

  15. Noemi February 27, 2017 at 10:59 #

I loved Emma Roberts but she’s not on the list. It’s hard between Kirsten Dunst and Naomie Harris, they both looked great. I voted for Naomie because she looked great, I love the kind of mismatched shoes and that white sequined dress was perfect on her.

  16. mee February 27, 2017 at 09:30 #

    Emma Roberts

With honorable mention for Kristen, Ruth, and Brie.

    • Nat39 February 28, 2017 at 02:26 #

Loved Darby too, def. one of my top faves, a bit surprised she’s not included.

  18. Nat39 February 27, 2017 at 08:45 #

    Emma Stone. Too perfect.

    • Jones19 February 27, 2017 at 11:03 #

Agreed. On the whole a very underwhelming red carpet but Emma’s entire look slayed me.

        • Catherine Kallon February 27, 2017 at 15:53 #

It was my pleasure. It wasn’t a stressful as previous years, which leads me to believe I put that pressure on myself. That break did me good x

  20. Alina February 27, 2017 at 08:28 #

Emma Stone. She was a vision.
