Lily Collins In Alexander McQueen – 19th Costume Designers Guild Awards

On Tuesday (February 21) Lily Collins attended the 19th CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards).

The actress turned to the house of Alexander McQueen and slipped into a floor-length, long-sleeve tulle gown covered in colour sequin embroidery that gave her look a dramatic feel and instant impact when she hit the red carpet.

Opting for a lining which ran the full length of the gown, she completed her look with a signature bold lip.

If you are having a slight case of deja vu, that’s because Emily Blunt wore a similar dress from the same collection last year. Despite that, this was easily one of the best looks of the night. She just gets better and better for me.

The dress is gorgeous but I don’t think she can pull it out. It’s wearing her more than she’s wearing it. She’s too young and doesn’t have enough charisma for it. Emily Blunt does have it and it was much better on her. Plus she’s so thin and curveless that it does do much for her figure. But I really dislike the hairstyle here and the makeup.

Much prefer Emily, it suits her maturity more. Don’t like Lily’s hair here.
