Dakota Johnson In Alexander McQueen – ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ London Premiere

Following the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Madrid premiere, Dakota Johnson’s next stop was London this evening (February 9).

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 21017 gown which was equal parts romantic and equal parts moody.

Usually a lined gown loses some of its appeal, however, in this case the feeling is quite the opposite; as it provides a canvas in which the sea creatures design really comes alive.

One again the nonchalant elegance is really working for me here as she appears so effortless.

    Great dress, necklace and makeup
I just don’t like the hairdo, I think it ages her

i love it. The detailing is so exquisite and i am happy to see a lined dress on the red carpet

I like this, a period dress updated.

Nope. For me the lining actually ruined the dress. It turned something young, fresh and fashionable into old and conservative. And the stlying doesn’t help it either with that hair and the lack of jewelry. Not a fan at all.

I didn’t expect McQueen from her but I love it. I think this is my second fave look, her Valentino dress is still my fave

Very nice! I’m trying to figure out which one is my favorite look from her so far – it’s between this one and the Saint Laurent.

I don’t like the puffy sleeves. She can do so much better…

I like this look on her. She looks so lovely, feminine and romantic, the neckline is beautiful and flattering and the unusual pattern keeps it interesting. This is probably my fave look on her so far, it really suits her.

…although still doesn’t excite. She’s very similar to Emma Stone – great potential, but seems to be always slightly ‘underdoing’ it.
