Aura Garrido In Lorenzo Caprile – 2017 Goya Awards

Aura Garrido vamped up the red carpet at the 2017 Goya Awards on Saturday (February 4) in Madrid.

She relied on the sleek lines and sharp slits of her Lorenzo Caprile off-the-shoulder black gown to deliver a sense of drama for the otherwise minimal design.

Accessories including a Louis Vuitton clutch and Jimmy Choo lace-up sandals more or less blended in with the look, so it’s no surprise her matte red lip commanded attention.

It’s the choker necklace I question, as I’m not sure if it emboldened the look or took it into costume-y territory. What do you make of it?

It’s a bit Morticia Addams, to be honest. I think the choker is too much. I like the neckline of the dress.

If she chose a different choker it would have been much better

I just don’t like the piece/detail on the choker, but I love she’s wearing a choker with this outfit. Great

Love this except for the choker, the shoes were already too much. She could’ve done with a bare neck.

Adore the dress, however I feel a statement earring would have worked better over the choker.

The gown is so sublime in cut and construction that it stands alone. I dislike chokers but I do love the deco motif at the centre of this one, so it doesn’t spoil the look for me. I might have liked it better on a thinner ribbon.

    Either way Aura looks stunning.

I hate the choker (I dislike chokers generally) so I feel it doesn’t look good here either. Apart from that she looks beautiful. The clean line of the dress, her hair back shining, and the red lips,,, Gorgeous girl.

A choker was a great idea, but not this particular one.

I like chokers and totally on board with the trend, but this particular one is jarring, a bit too much imo. the whole look is starting to feel a bit tacky rather than refined sexy.
