Hailee Steinfeld In Atelier Versace, Elie Saab & Vera Wang – W Magazine Party, BAFTA Tea Party & Golden Globe Awards

Hailee Steinfeld attended W Magazine Celebrates the Best Performances Portfolio and the Golden Globes with Audi and Moet & Chandon at Chateau Marmont on Thursday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California before going to the BAFTA Tea Party on Saturday (January 7) at the Four Seasons Hotel. Of course, the grand finale of her appearances was the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 8).

W Magazine Party: ‘The Edge of Seventeen’ actress was all grown up, as she stunned in an Atelier Versace dress that took LBD to another level. The sweeping satin train that wrapped around the sequin mini was both directionally cool and suggestively sexy, and Hailee couldn’t have worn it better.

BAFTA Tea Party: From sexy to sweet, the ‘it’ girl actress continued to impress with her charming Elie Saab baby-doll mini-dress in a lovely aquamarine hue. It looked as if it could have been plucked from the ’60s—in the best way possible, even if we’ve seen similar looks before. Here, she again chose legs as the star of her style show, however, I’m sure that sitting down provided its own set of challenges.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: Yet again showing off her versatile style range, she floated out an ethereal, lavender Vera Wang cold-shoulder gown with a long tulle train that was her grand princess moment for the evening.

With the exception of the Atelier Versace, I haven’t been liking her style since she ditched Karla Welch as her stylist and changed to duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Yes, the duo style popstars (JLo, Gwen Stefani, Ciara) and that is clearly what Hailee wants to be, but Karla Welch is hands-down the superior stylist.

She would have NEVER put in-her-fashion-prime and very fashion-conscious Hailee in Vera Wang -not a good brand match to begin with- yet alone a lilac tulle mess that belongs on Carrie Underwood.

Yes, Hailee clearly wanted a change, but her longtime work with Karla was amazing. Why kill something great for a career tack-on as a popstar? Karla dresses Pink and Justin Bieber. She knows how to transition a client’s style sartorially between film and music.

Hailee Steinfeld is better than basic Elie Saab.

Versace meets Monse (the first look) never needed to happen.
Second one would be cute if it wasn’t so short.
And the third one, if it weren’t so sheer in places, would be really lovely.

The Versace comes across as a bit too try hard for the event imo. I’m not a big fan of the Saab look. But the Vera Wang look is interesting, at first I wasn’t too fond of it, but it is growing on me.

I like the Atelier Versace dress, even though I feel like it’s too grand for the W party and I wish someone taller had worn it
The Saab is too short and I don’t get the styling
As for the Vera Wang I liked the color on her,but I feel like the skirt overwhelms her and the top looks too much like a paper doll dress
