Sienna Miller In Michael Kors, Gucci & Lanvin – 2017 Golden Globe Awards & ‘Live by Night’ LA & London Premiere’s

Sienna Miller attended the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8) before jetting off to the ‘Live by Night’ Los Angeles premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre the next day. Then, it was time for the London premiere of the film on January 11 at The BFI Southbank in England.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: Skipping her more bohemian style sensibility for the evening, the actress selected a white Michael Kors gown. While the cutout dress was a lovely ode to her toned midsection, something just didn’t click here with the collection of pearls and jewels.

‘Live by Night’ LA Premiere: There was nothing short of a night and day difference between the actress’s Golden Globes appearance and this Gucci Spring 2017 gown that she wore for the L.A. premiere—and I have to say I love her bold step away from minimalism. The sky-blue, layered tulle dress was not one for the faint of heart with its clashing neon yellow icicle-shaped embellishments and trompe l’oeil bow. Yet it had a unique ethereality that drew me in.

‘Live by Night’ London Premiere: The actress showed her style versatility yet again at the London premiere where she selected a Lanvin gown for the evening. I have a hard time getting past the creases and puckering throughout the midsection; silky and satiny fabrics such as this can be a challenge to wear. However, I do love her playfully sultry, side-pinned waves.

The Michael Kors was a mess. Eveything. The purposely messy hair, the overall blahness, the ripples. It’s too prim for such a firecracker like Sienna. She can dress like an A-List actress power player without being boring (hello Cate Blanchett).

The Gucci was the best. She was a delightful nova.

The Lanvin was a mess. Boring, too contained and as you said, not a great fabric to begin with.

Kate Young must have not drunk enough coffee. 2-1 loss is not good for a single client.

I know I can be hard on stylists, but even after all these years, with each flop it still shocks me that the stylist would recommended it in the first place to the client, who seconded the mistake by choosing to wear it. This is epitomized in Michelle Williams’ disastrous daisy Valentino at the 2011 Golden Globes.

I don’t like the Kors dress at Globes and it could have been styled better
The Gucci I loved on the runway and it was a risky piece,I just wish that someone else would have gotten to it first and again styled it differently
The Lanvin dress is lovely and I actually love her styling,it just doesn’t feel like her, plus the fit is too snug and the CREASES….

Look no.1: a sleeveless design would’ve elevated the look.

Each one is very dreadful in its own way, in my opinion. Except for the third, her styling needs work.

I love the bold Gucci look, I actually wish she had worn that to the Globes.
Her Michael Kors look underwhelmed me a lot. It’s not exciting and I’m not feeling the styling either.
I like the Lanvin gown on the runway. On Sienna, the creases are irritating and I think I miss the belt.

No,no, and no, including her 2nd Gucci which is starting to look carnival-ish.
