Entertainer of the Year 2015 – Taylor Swift

We are clearly all remembering Taylor Swift standing in a nice dress—or two, no less—this year. The songstress is the consummate talent, and her trophy case only keeps on expanding come every award show. Little wonder, then, that she is our Entertainer of the Year again, following last year’s win.

And she’s only continued to raise her style game, too, as her star power continues to shine ever brighter.

Thankfully, 2015 saw her continue to move farther and farther away from sugary sweetness and into far more interesting and enthralling territory. Her model besties certainly didn’t hurt either in establishing T-Swift as a trendsetting, talented force to be reckoned with.

Those with any doubt only need see a few of her wardrobe selections beginning with the Elie Saab jaw-dropping teal-blue, high-low gown that balanced youthful playfulness with a fashion ‘it’ girl vibe. A black-lace-encrusted, grass-green Julien MacDonald gown brought in an element of vampy, good-girl-gone-edgy.

Her cutout white Balmain jumpsuit at the Billboard Music Awards may have been one of her most significant highlights for me. Seductive minimalism at its very finest.
