Tessa Thompson In Rodarte – L.A. Dance Project 2015 Benefit

Tessa Thompson attended the L.A. Dance Project 2015 Benefit at The Los Angeles Theater Center on Saturday (December 12) in Los Angeles, California.

The Rodarte Spring 2015 collection channeled the whimsical side of imaginative, heavy embroidery and this dress is a perfect demonstration of designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy’s artistically mad patchwork detailing.

It’s not an easy look to wear with all of its sartorial debris strewn about. However, I appreciate her sleek styling to temper the complexity of the design.

I was immediately reminded of a similar dress from this collection that Chloe Sevigny wore earlier this year.
