25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of those who joined Julianne Moore and Emmy Rossum for the 25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 30) in New York City.

Rachel McAdams: The actress wore a tailored Noam Hanoch jumpsuit, cast with point d’esprit lace insets for a sensual touch.

Helen Mirren: The British actress has worn this Dolce & Gabbana dress a few times now. She could wear it 100 times, yet it won’t make me like that this scribble print design.

Sarah Paulson: By far my best dressed at this event, the actress was looking sleek and sexy wearing Cushine et Ochs Resort 2016 dress with cold-shoulder cut-outs lending a fiercely modern sensibility to this bold LBD.

Lake Bell: Between the fabric and the breast outline, I can’t say I’m a fan of Lake Bell’s Calvin Klein Collection dress.

Amy Ryan: One of the few who didn’t opt for black, the actress looked divine wearing a quilted Max Mara blue strapless dress styled with a Lee Savage clutch.

Olivia Cooke: The British actress also opted for an LBD selecting a point d’esprit Burberry dress. While I do appreciate a maroon heels, she could’ve had much more fun with the accessories here.

Sarah Paulson is the best dressed here, followed by Rachel McAdams.

This is the best Sarah’s ever looked that I can remember.

    Rachel is my favourite here

Sarah Paulson looks so good here! Potential BDOTW contender.

I don’t like anything here. This is the third time that I have seen Helen in this dress and I still do not like it but what I have liked is the how pleased she looks wearing it. This dress seems to make her happy and so more power to her wearing it multiple times.

That’s how I feel about Helen’s dress, too. Her smile lights up the room and draws me back to her picture out of this group.

    Sarah looks great!
    Rachel and Olivia look okay…
Lake’s look is not that great…
    Amy’s dress is bad imo.
I didn’t like that dress on Helen the first time she wore it and this is at least the third time she’s wearing it this year, yeah…

Helen has already worn that dress so I don’t get why she’s wearing it again? I loved it when I saw it on her the first time but again? Out of the rest of the bunch I only like Sarah, which is by far my best dressed from here too.

I love the D&G drawing print so I never really tire of seeing it, but mostly I am thankful Helen left her oversized bag at home for once.

Rachel looks pretty but this feels like a deja vu Zuhair-esque moment to me.

Had Paula’s dress not had the weird band thing I would have loved it, but I personally think it cheapens the look.

      *Obviously I meant Paulson.

Sarah Paulson is looking strikingly good. Everything comes together smoothly. I love the look.
2nd best is Olivia Cook, who is somebody I never had heard before, but I love her face.

I would say Sarah Paulson is BDOTW worthy. Modern simplicity at its best.
