Kerry Washington In Self-Portrait & Giambattista Valli Couture – MaxMara & Allure Celebrate ABC’s #TGIT & 2015 Baby2Baby Gala

Kerry Washington In Self-Portrait & Giambattista Valli Couture - MaxMara & Allure Celebrate ABC's #TGIT & 2015 Baby2Baby Gala

This weekend Kerry Washington attended the ‘MaxMara & Allure Celebrate ABC’s #TGIT’ event and the 2015 Baby2Baby Gala (where she was honoured) on Saturday (November 14) in California.

Judging by both looks, it’s safe to say Kerry is very much back on track.

MaxMara & Allure Celebrate ABC’s #TGIT: Kerry’s first look was a captivating design from Self Portrait. This angelic mid-length dress featuring all-over floral lace, layered upon a flesh-toned lining is decidedly pretty and oozing with lady-like charm. This is only further enhanced with her effortless styling which included laser cut Paul Andrew ‘Dasha’ pumps.

2015 Baby2Baby Gala: The queen of the night made sure all eyes were on her when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this breath-taking Giambattista Valli Couture gown. I love everything about this look from the contrasting petals to the modest sheer skirt as Kerry exudes confidence and glamour.

The 2nd is a standout, loving the sweet pink petals, making it in tune with the Gala, and the subtle sheerness – it all reads Couture. She was receiving an award at the event and I like that she made a bolder, more standout choice.

I like the first one, the second gown seems to be wearing her.

The first look is nice, lady-like and appropriate.
The second I do not like. Something is very off. It looks oddly out of place and I’m not even sure I can pinpoint the actual problem. I do know the petals don’t look like petals on her and I cannot stand that. Anyways its a no sadly.

    2 wins.

I love the second gown on the runway, but the additional lining weighs it down.

I don’t really like either. The first dress is not flattering and matronly but her makeup is great. The second dress is okay but I am over sheer and the makeup is awful.

I like both, but the second one is the one I’m going to remember at the end of the week.

This is the Kerry I love. The Self Portrait is so soft and feminine and the GV gown is just heavenly. She looked lovely from H2T in both looks.

How funny–I love the gown and am not a fan of the Maxmara dress. Thank goodness for all these different perceptions!

I like her first look! Second look…… Eh not so much.

I prefer the 1rst look. The placement of the petals on the GV gown looks so randon on Kelly’s version.

I much prefer the Self-Portrait look. The Valli gown doesn’t work, imo.

I find the first dress ordinary, but her make up is perfection.
The Gambattista Valli dress is beautiful but the pink petals were better on the runway !
    Still, she looks great.
