LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala

Plenty more stars joined Diane Kruger, Reese Witherspoon, Kim Kardashian and Naomi Campbell for the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California, which was hosted by Gucci.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model was a picture so loveliness wearing a Gucci Resort 2016 deep v-neck pleated layered gown. With the black ribbons for contrast, I don’t think the choker was needed here.

Dakota Johnson: This made me swoon. From the saffron hue, to the overall styling and elegance oozing from this Gucci Resort 2016 one of a kind gown. At first I didn’t quite get her style, but she’s most definitely one of my favourites now.

Brit Marling: The actress, who is one of my favourites, wore Gucci Resort 2016 pink suit.   I desperately wanted to love this, but damn those trousers are bringing me out in hives as they’re clearly too big for her. Mustard satin Gucci ‘Sylvia’ sandals and a Gucci yellow silk brocade clutch completed this near-perfect look.

Chloe Sevigny: Trust Chloe to select perhaps the trickiest piece from Gucci’s Resort 2016 collection. This yellow lace gown has a LOT going on with blue flower brooch and embroidered details, but she pulls the look off with plenty of charisma. Styled with gold leather Gucci ‘Sylvia’ sandals and a Gucci burgundy plexi clutch, the only thing I would remove are those aqua earrings as they are competing for attention with the brooch.

Salma Hayek: While the colour of this rose pink Gucci Spring 2016 gown featuring a red crystal tromp l’oeuil and belt is divine on Salma, I have to ask, “what’s the point of wearing a custom gown if the custom gown don’t fit? This look impossibly tight on the chest which is depleting my initial love for this piece. Gucci red satin shoes and a Gucci burgundy plexi clutch completed her look.

LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala 3

Saoirse Ronan: The Irish actress reverted back to the sweet style we all know and love her for when she donned this Gucci Resort 2016 pink mini. Her 60s style frock was styled with Gucci shoes and a Gismondi bracelet making this a truly charming and quintessentially chic look.

Gwyneth Paltrow: While this Gucci Spring 2016 aquamarine paillettes embroidered tulle cocktail dress with trompe l’oeil detail and red floral brooch is a great look for Gwyneth, all I keep thinking is, “what happened with the progress of the hair?” and “I wish she wore the runway version“. The look was styled with Rupert Sanderson heels and Gismondi earrings.
