Amanda Seyfried In Givenchy – 12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Amanda Seyfried In Givenchy - 2015 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Amanda Seyfried attended the 12th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at Spring Studios on Monday (November 2) in New York City.

Here we see an example of how Riccardo Tisci revamped a slip dress adding cut-outs and undone ribbons to amp up the allure. I especially love the draped hemline which gives the classic piece an unique silhouette.

Amanda’s extremely feminine look was styled with Givenchy sandals and silver jewels, while she kept her makeup simple.

A young Goldie Hawn could make this work. Only her.

I don’t particularly love this but Amanda is one of the few women who can actually wear Givenchy and not look tacky. So for that alone I give this a pass.

Looks like she was rushing from her bedroom and got her nightie caught on the bedpost and ripped both sides.

This looks more like a lingerie piece. And the back ribbon just looks like someone was in the process of taking it off.

I really don’t get the back of the dress.
It looks like the dress is a size too small for her and she couldn’t button it all the way up.
The cut outs on the lower thighs are badly placed.

“Classic piece”? Looks like a Victorian nightie.

The fabric looks so cheap, the cut even looks cheap as it’s very ill-fitted. Even on such a graceful girl as Amanda (and God knows she doesn’t lack grace) it’s not good.

This is way too much cheapness, exactly.

Mess. I wish she’d cut ties with everything Givenchy and Valentino. I can see her being breathtaking in Elie Saab.

I’d love this more if I hadn’t looked at the back view – the ruffles are so creased, it makes the whole look seem cheap. I hate ironing but I want to personally iron this dress out.

I actually find this to be extremely beautiful . It’s so ethereal. It shouldn’t work, but it does.

I don’t understand this dress at all. It looks bit ill fitted and these cut-offs… Strange.

    Not liking this.
