Emily Robinson In Kayat – 2015 Emmy Awards

Emily Robinson In Kayat - 2015 Emmy Awards

Young star Emily Robinson was one of the first stars to hit the red carpet of the 2015 Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA tonight (September 20).

The actress wore a floral embroidered Kayat gown from the Spring 2015 collection, with a slight high/low hemline and 3/4-length sleeves.

While the silhouette of this gown seems a bit mature at first glance, the floral print and styling keeps it young, and I like that Emily chose to wear a grown-up gown to a grown-up occasion.

A textured ponytail, simple jewels and rosy cheeks and lips are the perfect complements for the lovely, feminine gown.

Way too heavy looking even though its light in color. Frumpy is a good word.

I kinda like this but not for this event.

I don’t think is a very grown up gown. It’s what I used to read Jane Austen novels in when I was 14 (it was more cut like a cozy blanket then rather than as a dress). Very dreamy and cute, but not quite my taste anymore.

I would have liked this, had the dress had a V-neckline.

    Too grandma-ish and kinda heavy.

She does look sweet and pretty. But I see an expensive tea cup.

Not liking the overload of flowers.

This doesn’t work and I don’t think that this gown is Emmys red carpet material anyway.

Definitely a little too matronly and overwhelming for her, but I do like her fresh and youthful hair and makeup

Frumpy, it’s hanging like a grandma’s tablecloth off her.
