Naomi Watts In Burberry Prorsum, Vionnet, Fausto Puglisi – 2015 Toronto Film Festival

Naomi Watts In Burberry Prorsum, Vionnet, Fausto Puglisi - 2015 Toronto Film Festival

Over the weekend, Naomi Watts attended the ‘Demolition’ press conference, ‘About Ray’ premiere, and InStyle & HFPA Party, all hosted during the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

‘Demolition’ Press Conference: While her ‘Demolition’ premiere look wasn’t her best moment, this Burberry Prorsum Resort 2016 dress was somewhat redeeming at the press conference on Friday (September 11). I love the romantic feminine appeal of the lace contrasted by the sharper structure of the dress and its geometric black paneling.

‘About Ray’ Premiere: A day later, everything was coming up rosy for the actress who attended the screening at the Princess of Wales Theatre in a Vionnet Resort 2016 suit with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ metallic sandals. I’m not always a fan of Pepto Bismol pink on the red carpet, but I found this mannish statement with colour-blocked crimson lapels a striking study in contrasts. Shame about the distracting wrinkles throughout.

InStyle & HFPA Party: Making a quick change from her premiere suit to sexy lace, she later made the party rounds at the Windsor Arms Hotel in a Fausto Puglisi Resort 2016 frock styled with a Rauwolf clutch. No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot get past the distracting neon-green apron that dominates the dress—it is reminiscent of a vampy French maid costume gone wrong.

That last dress looks like someone last minute tacked on a green construction paper apron. I’ve never seen anything so ridiculous trying to be passed off as serious fashion.

I can overlook the creases in the second look. I like that one.

Her Vionnet suit is such a risk but YAS from me. She rocks it. I also like her first look.

The first look is okay. I don’t know what to think of the second one… and the third one obviously is awful. *sigh*

WDOTY. I’m flabbergasted. I thought it would be a Kardashian or SJP but here we are.

Her perfectly poised self in the first look looks like it’s totally judging her contrived third look self.

Wrinkles aside, the second look is beautiful and something a little different from her.

Good grief! The third look is one of the worst looks I’ve seen of late. The apron reminds me of an elementary school art project gone wrong. Time for a new stylist!

Oh no that last outfit… I see more Tinkerbell gone wrong than vampy French maid, nevertheless not great!

    • Christine September 15, 2015 at 05:00 #

      LMAO.

      Cannot unsee.

I like her first look and that’s it.

Completely agree on the vampy french maid costume gone wrong. What an atrocity.
