Kate Walsh In Gauri & Nainika Couture – LA Opera’s 30th Anniversary Season Opening Night

Kate Walsh In Gauri & Nainika Couture - LA Opera's 30th Anniversary Season Opening Night

Kate Walsh attended LA Opera’s 30th Anniversary Season Opening Night at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Saturday (September 12) in Los Angeles, California.

I can’t say that I have ever been blown away by a Kate Walsh look, but as the saying goes, there is a first time for everything.

The actress looked breath-taking wearing a Gauri & Nainika Couture gown which hails from the 2015 India Bridal Fashion Week.

I wouldn’t have considered this white tea length dress with floral detailing a bridal gown, however, I love the effort Kate made to ensure this gown was fit for any occasion with her inspired styling.

My BDOTY list is pretty thin on the ground, so perhaps this could very well snag a spot. I love it that much.

I agree! The second I saw this I thought BDOTW, and the next second, I thought BDOTY!

I’ve always thought she wore everything well. She brings the right, confident attitude to the red carpet.

I love it. Head to toe perfection.

    I really like this! Flawless

She looks like a walking christmas decoration to me. It’s the colours.

I like this on her and yet prefer how it flows on the model. The way Kate wears it is not age-ing per se, but mature.

I really like this. She styled this nicely. It works for me.

The styling with a clutch and red shoes and belt has really enanced the look.

I love the dress and the styling, but I don’t find it very flattering on Kate.

+1 It is a lovely look; just not for Kate.

The shape of the dress is unflattering.

I love the styling! But I’m not 100% sure if I think that she pulls off this dress… I don’t know.

I keep going back and forth with what to think about this. I also have moments where I’m like ‘well, of course she pulls it off!’ and in the next moment I’m again looking at the dress and I’m like, meh… the styling here is great and it has a lot potential, but I something about the dress and the silhouette I guess is really putting me off. I can’t exactly put my finger on it, though. I’m not even 100% sure if the problem actually is the dress, or Kate, or the dress on Kate… lol.

This is NOT her dress or shape at all, unfortunately.

  13. justme September 15, 2015 at 00:17 #

Her styling really elevated the dress.

Agreed. she made he look her own! Love it.

I agree, the dress doesn’t look bridal. She looks stunning, I like the addition of the waistband.
