Dakota Johnson In Alexander McQueen – ‘Black Mass’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Dakota Johnson In Alexander McQueen - ‘Black Mass’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Dakota Johnson attended the ‘Black Mass’ premiere during the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival held at The Elgin Theatre on Monday (September 14) in Toronto, Canada.

While most of you were underwhelmed by her Venice Film Festival style, I’m sure you’ll agree that she puts forth captivating strengthened charm in Alexander McQueen.

I love this Resort 2016 awe-inducing number for its romantic take on the fresh bloom aesthetic and it’s breezy nature.

After sporting a 80s-style perm in Venice, this updo was a more elegant way to complete this stunning look.

This is beyond gorgeous as was her Venice Film Fest run – she was highly considered to be the queen of that festival this year so I’m shocked that a lot of people on here didn’t like it. There’s even people finding fault with this dress? I find the commenters on this site to have become increasingly critical – it’s a real person in a dress people, everything doesn’t need to be perfect and flawless, it’s just clothes. Having said that I think she does look pretty much flawless here! Gorgeous

I agree. All I see is stunning, but every person who comments on this site has become so nitpicky, its so rare now that people actually appreciate the beauty of something. No need to rip every small detail apart. If people only knew how much work goes into every single carpet and knew how much actually needs to go right for things to look ok, they would not be this critical.

She looks gorgeous though I don’t think this is quite right for a premiere.

say this would be BDOTW worthy? i reckon her boston premiere look from today would take that… https://instagram.com/p/7q1JNTmxuU/

idk. I think the cutouts make it look a bit messy. its only okay to me.

Love the boho, summery and effortless vibe this gives off. Very beautiful from head to toe

    This is not a Resort 2016 dress/gown.

I don’t know. The material is dated looking.

She looks beautiful to me. BDOTW candidate.

I despise the exposed stomach cut-out, as I think it nearly ruins an otherwise lovely gown. She looks very pretty, save for that unfortunate design choice.

    • Casey September 16, 2015 at 07:30 #

I agree completely. It’s unnecessary and distracting.

So very un-AM but it’s a pretty dress. Would be better without the cutout. I like her style.

  16. Evita September 15, 2015 at 18:52 #

Love this other side of her, even with a few construction mistakes on the bodice,BDOTW-worthy

  17. Alina September 15, 2015 at 18:50 #

While I am not a fan of the bodice, I do think this is one of her best outings.

I have similar feelings about this: the dress shouldn’t work, nor does her expression sell this… and yet it kinda works strangely.
