Solange Knowles attended the Moet Nectar Imperial Rose x Marcelo Burlon launch event on Wednesday (June 3) in New York City.

The singer appears to have put her print-loving days behind her, preferring the architectural elegance of Stéphane Rolland and now Toni Maticevski.

Defined by cut-outs, asymmetrical cuts, a part-peplum and a contrasting draped detail, I’m sure many will claim that there is too much going on.

I don’t agree with that sentiment. I see this look as edgy, sleek and modern.

The red carpet needs more looks that stand up to be noticed like this one.
