Cannes Film Festival Menswear Roundup

Cannes Film Festival Menswear Roundup
It was hard to remove my gaze from the breathtaking gowns at on the first day, Wednesday (May 13), of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, but a handful of menswear looks were worthy of mention.

Xavier Dolan: The French-Canadian actor cut a striking profile in his blue Louis Vuitton double-breasted suit paired with a black-and-white chequered sweater. It’s a perfect look for the Jury photocall, as it projects a coolly suave edge without even trying. You may remember that the suit was previously worn by Michiel Huisman.

John Legend: Attending the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute,’ the singer couldn’t have looked more handsome in his traditional black Gucci tuxedo, making a solid argument for the power of a classic tux worn in superior fashion.

Jake Gyllenhaal: The actor was also at the opening ceremony and premiere and likewise catching plenty of stares for being well-dressed in a dark Tom Ford tuxedo and bow tie, even if I also like to see him in blues to bring out his steely stare.
