Brit Marling In Roksanda – 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Brit Marling In Roksanda - 2015 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Brit Marling made a colorful turn on the red carpet of the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last night (April 25) at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

The actress wore a color-blocked, peplum Roksanda gown from the designer’s Spring 2015 collection. Black pumps with white-tipped toes continue the color-blocking trend, and are the perfect choice to accompany the vibrant dress.

Long, loose curls and barely-there makeup offer a subtle take on beauty.

I love all the points of visual interest that this dress offers, and that Brit manages to make such a bold look still look just restrained enough not to be over-the-top. A definitely win in my book!

I find this dress just ugly. I do not like the colors together surprisingly, and the bodice part looks strange, and the waist piece is not flattering to the dress. I also do not like the shoe choice.

This collection… I hardly like any look from it, while the bold colours always make me wonder why not. This dress must be the worst yet. Having said that, she styled it cleverly. I do like how the white pointed cap toe peeks from under the skirt.

I like the dress but looking at it here I’m not totally sold

Yeah those shoes don’t work. I also get the feeling that she always does her own hair & make-up, and boy could she use a pro. She’s a beautiful girl, she just needs fresher hair and make-up to take it to the next level.

    Just ok.

Digging the colour, not so sure about the peplum-y detail but regardless this colourful look should have been matched with brighter, fresher makeup.

I’m not a big fan of the peplum thingy (panel ?). Looks a bit unnecessary.

The shoes are not great with the dress. The dress itself is just okay.

I think the gown looks a size too big in the waist area. Other than that she looks great.

Not a fan of the shoes, but the rest is a win for me too.

This was my favorite look of the night. Totally modern but as you said restrained.

This is not a good look.
