Get The Look: Allison Williams’ Michael Kors Braided Hairstyle

Celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast worked with Allison Williams for the Michael Kors Fall 2015 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Wednesday (February 18).

When describing her beauty inspiration, Rebekah said, “Allison has a strong sense of personal style so she always has great ideas for beauty looks. We drew inspiration from her outfit and, based on the proportions, we knew we wanted to keep the hair back.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Beginning with clean, towel-dried hair, Rebekah applied Kerastase Resistance Mousse Volumifique from the mid shaft to the ends of the hair and Serge Normant Meta Lush Volumizer to the roots.

Next she blow dried the hair straight and created a centre parting. She also used a flat iron to remove any waves and applied a bit of Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.

She then pulled the hair back into two sections from mid ear to just under the crown and plaited the sections, creating a fishtail braid. She ran though the back with a flat iron again to keep the look as sleek as possible.

To cover the elastic and add a sweet (but not too sweet) touch, she tied a leather bow to the end of the braid. She finished with Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue on the ends for shine.
