Beyonce Knowles In Roberto Cavalli Atelier & Balmain – 2015 Grammy Awards Performance & Press Room

Beyonce Knowles In Roberto Cavalli Atelier & Balmain - 2015 Grammy Awards Performance & Press Room

After a rather formulaic red-carpet entrance, Beyonce Knowles made two more wardrobe changes throughout the evening at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Performance: Taking the stage to sing ‘Take My Hand, Precious Lord,’ she wore a custom Roberto Cavalli Atelier gown with a Messika high jewellery necklace. The gossamer, ethereal quality of this confection, which was constructed of transparent silk tulle with all-over crystal embroidery, was beautiful on Queen Bey with the angelic nature of the design coordinated to the song. I loved seeing this softer side of the singer.

Press Room: After collecting multiple Grammys, Beyonce posed with her trophies in a Balmain Pre-Fall 2015 sparkle and fringe dress paired with embellished, strappy Fendi sandals and the same extra-long waves. Although she swapped her original long black gown for a short LBD, I was still left stifling a yawn and wishing for a fresher look and a different ‘do for the stunning songstress.

Many of you were bored with her first gown. Did she redeem herself with either of these looks?

She looked beautiful in the white dress on stage. But she also looks pregnant to me hence the boring press room outfit to hide a possible baby bump?

The stage look worked wonderfully. The press room dress was way too predictable.

Roberto Cavalli is breath-taking. Her extra long hair has been bothering me but it’s acceptable for a stage look.

Not really interested in any of her looks tbh.

She looks good in both looks, but the hair are very bad ! The extensions look so cheap.
With her hair up it would have been so much better.

    Wow, Godess !
She had a “Galadriel” moment on the stage.
    (LOTR fans will understand.)

Not so much of her outfits but her hairstyle is boring. I’m tired of that hair color and the same hairstyle.
Change the hairstyle and you have a runway moment!

As a L’Oreal girl, she is letting me down in that department

The performance look might be her best performance look ever.

She plays it too safe but she looks good imo. I’m not sure I can’t fault her for that.

I love both of these looks. I was hoping she would wear this Balmain so it was fun to see her bring it to life. The performance dress was heavenly.

The performance look was one of the best of the night.

Agreed! It was breathtaking backlit by the lights on the stage!

    • gabis February 9, 2015 at 17:46 #

I agree but her hair needed to be up!

      • Christine February 9, 2015 at 21:32 #

Agreed. She looked so ethereal and stunning.
