Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

menswear

Here is a quick roundup of some gents who caught my eye on the red carpet this week.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The British actor joined Keira Knightley for the ‘Imitation Game’ pre-BAFTA reception held at the ME Hotel on Thursday (February 5) in London, England, attending his first red carpet event this year without his glamorous plus one, Sophie Hunter. As we would expect, his classic suit was tailored to perfection. Once in a while I would like to see something other than black from Benedict, but he scrubs up so nicely that one can’t blame him for sticking to tried and true.

David Oyelowo: The British actor is yet to stick to safe black. He wore a dual-colour biscuit and black Dolce & Gabbana suit to the Virtuosos Awards at the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival. On some this would’ve been questionable, but on someone with his flair it works.

Ethan Hawke: For the American Riviera Awards ceremony, held during at the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday (February 5), Ethan selected a midnight-blue suit, which by his standards was quite sombre considering his love for colour.
