2015 SAG Awards Menswear Roundup
We’ve seen all the ladies, so here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees of the 2015 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles, California.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: Looking ever so handsome, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actor wore a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece black tuxedo, white tuxedo shirt and black satin bow tie.
Eddie Redmayne: The award-winning British actor never has an off day. Last night he looked very dapper wearing a double-breasted Prada suit with shiny patent-leather shoes.
Matthew McConaughey: Keeping up his snazzy blazer run from last awards season, the actor wore a Brioni suit with a blue sheen blazer, which certainty stood out in a sea of black tuxedos. The look was styled with Tod’s shoes.
Kit Harington: The ‘Games of Thrones’ actor wore a Burberry suit for the occasion.
Michael Keaton: I was in awe of the exquisite tailoring of Michael’s grey shawl-collar suit.
Jim Parsons: The ‘Big Bang Theory’ actor is always well turned out on the red carpet, but on this occasion I wasn’t impressed. He wore an Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure charcoal and black, glen plaid, two-button, peak-lapel tuxedo, yet the blazer looks too small for him.
Mahershala Ali: Yummy sprang to mind upon seeing the handsome ‘House of Cards’ actor in his classic Isaia tuxedo. Sometimes simple is best.
Adrien Brody: The actor continues to favour these super-shiny suits, which I don’t like, but I can’t fault the tailoring of his Dolce & Gabbana suit. The look was styled with a Bulgari timepiece and Pierre Hardy shoes.
Kevin Costner: The ‘Black or White’ actor also wore Ermenegildo Zegna, wearing a black shawl-collar tuxedo, shirt and bow tie. I have never been a fan of sunglasses on the red carpet.
Lenny Kravitz: Dressed in all black Saint Laurent, the musician can get away with wearing sunglasses on the red carpet. I’m surprised he didn’t add more jewelry.
Joe Manganiello: Like a magnet, the actor could barely stay away from his beautiful fiancée, Sofia Vergara. He looked just as handsome in his Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure navy shawl-collar tuxedo.
Ethan Hawke: The ‘Boyhood’ actor continues to keep things interesting on the red carpet. He said himself that he deliberately opts out of black, this time selecting a Calvin Klein deep green suit with peak lapels. He’s my one to watch this awards season.
Jared Leto: Skipping the red carpet, the actor, who was presenting on the night, may have opted for a black Dolce & Gabbana suit on this occasion but he added a fun element to his look with his pink socks matching his pink carnation. A Cartier watch and Louis Leeman velvet loafers with crystal detail rounded out his sharp look.
