2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Menswear Roundup

2015 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Menswear Roundup

Here’s a quick roundup of the men who took to the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Eddie Redmayne: Giving just that little bit extra, which always sees him standing above his peers, the actor opted for a sharp Valentino shawl-collar tuxedo in his favoured slim-fit silhouette.

Jared Leto: Following the Globes, I was worried he had lost his mojo, but here he’s bursting with flavour. Standing out wearing a bright blue Costume National blazer accented with a pink carnation, you have to admire his courage in always doing something different. Thankfully opting for black trousers instead of going full blue, he did match his blazer to his sock with an extra kick coming from his Swarovski-embellished Louis Leeman loafers. On this occasion he swapped his man-braid for a man-bun.

Ethan Hawke: Yet to wear a black suit this awards season, the ‘Boyhood’ actor also stood out, donning a Lanvin light grey suit with black velvet piping. These top three will most definitely keep menswear interesting this awards season.

Chris Hemsworth: Looking mighty fine as always, the actor donned a classic Dolce & Gabbana three-piece suit styled with a rose-gold Bulgari timepiece and a selection of rings.

David Oyelowo: The actor, who tends to work a more colourful angle on the red carpet, played it straight by his standards, wearing a black one-button suit sans tie, which he styled with Kwiat cufflinks and Louis Leeman metal-toe-cap shoes.

Justin Theroux: Justin joined Jennifer Aniston wearing a Dior Homme black wool single-button small-lapel tuxedo, white cotton shirt, black silk tie and black leather derbies.

Garrett Hedlund: The actor wore a black Gucci notch-lapel two-button New Signoria tuxedo with a white dress shirt, black grosgrain bowtie and black leather lace-up shoes.

Common: The rapper always looks so cool on the red carpet. On this occasion he wore a midnight-blue satin Fendi contrast shawl-collar suit with black tassel-accented loafers.

Chris Evans: After going for a more laid-back look at the People’s Choice Awards, the actor suited up in Gucci while presenting with Rosario Dawson.
