Woman of the Year 2014 – Jessica Chastain

Woman of the Year
Jessica Chastain has taken Hollywood by storm in 2014, gracing red carpets the world over with her talent and her enviable style. The actress has not only experienced a whirlwind year of mega movie promotions, but also a magnificent 12 months of timelessly elegant and effortless looks that remain unforgettable and that have landed her at the top of many a BDOTW poll.

That said, it’s not hard to see why the flame-haired star is the consummate Woman of the Year for 2014.

Still going strong, she has most recently been premiering her latest films, ‘A Most Violent Year’ and ‘Interstellar.’ In fact, it was the ‘Interstellar’ promo tour where we saw her stunning Saint Laurent salmon-pink, one-shoulder gown at the London premiere and a swoon-worthy Givenchy Haute Couture backless black lace gown at the Los Angeles premiere.

Her promo tour for ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ was likewise brimming with breathtaking exits—and it was where we witnessed one of her best looks of the year, an electric-blue Atelier Versace gown. The colour… simply unreal.

And the Cannes Film Festival wouldn’t have been complete without her and her lavender Elie Saab confection present and accounted for, nor the Golden Globes so golden without her classically glamorous Givenchy strapless black gown.

Nothing short of a standing ovation is in order.
