Beyonce Knowles In Haute Hippie – 2014 Billboard Women In Music Luncheon

Beyonce Knowles In Haute Hippie - 2014 Billboard Women In Music Luncheon

Beyoncé Knowles attended the 2014 Billboard Women In Music Luncheon held at Cipriani Wall Street on Friday (December 12) in New York City.

The singer was looking as sultry as ever wearing a Haute Hippie merlot side-knot dress with an asymmetrical hemline showcasing plenty of thigh.

Wearing chunky gold bracelets courtesy of her go-to jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, the singer rather lets this look down with the muddy brown Gucci platform heels.

Terrible shoes and the dress is just unflattering. High slit is contrived and doesn’t work with her curves.

Pity her RC style pales in comparison to her street style. They’re many looks she wears away from the office that are quite stylish. But put her on a carpet, and it’s back to Tackyville!

The only thing that works here is her makeup, hair, and the color of the dress against her skin tone.

The slit is unflattering. The dress is a snore. The shoes are clunkers. The hair is flowy and lovely though.

I love Beyonce but I often can’t get behind what she wears off stage. This all looks cheap. The slit is too high and it’s not right for the event. The shoes are clunky and look like they cost about $10 bucks. I do love her hair and hope she keeps it this way for a while.

That slit is just showing too much leg…not flattering at all and odd for what would have, otherwise, been a tasteful dress. Ugly shoes as well.

I only like the hair and makeup.

+1 She looks a hot mess. That slit is a bit ridiculous, and quite unflattering.

Not body shaming but she doesn’t have the legs for this dress. I don’t like her style anyway.

+1 Agree, that’s all I notice when I look at this

    • Gemma Rockets December 16, 2014 at 03:46 #

Really? I think Beyoncé has fantastic legs- strong, slim and shapely.

And whatever you say, that IS body shaming.

It’s actually a nice look from the ankles up, but I think the slit is a bit too much for a luncheon.

The close up is a bit too J.Lo for me, but I don’t mind it that much, it’s working for her. As for the look as a whole, the shoes are ugly and the skirt isn’t flattering for her body shape. Sorry, Beyoncé.

Cheap looking dress, horrible shoes, tacky hair.
She is BEYONCÉ…surely she has access to the best stylists and designers in the world? Why does she consistently get it wrong?

    • olivia December 15, 2014 at 11:24 #

All true, but SHE has the final say.

Her stylist can give her Pucci and Chanel, but if she wants to wear a bargain bucket Haute Hippie dress, it’s ultimately her choice.

It’s clear she has NO style of her own. Totally clueless no matter how talented she is.

Beyonce never had great style. That’s one thing Solange got the upper hand on.

What are them shoes? The dress looks dated
