Pierre Paulin x Louis Vuitton Exhibition Dinner

Louis Vuitton celebrate the 'PLAYING WITH SHAPES' Pierre Paulin Exhibitions

Louis Vuitton hosted a dinner party during Art Basel in Miami, Florida, on Tuesday (December 2) to celebrate the Pierre Paulin’s exhibition where the celebs were of course wearing Louis Vuitton.

Kate Hudson: I was surprised to see Kate in Louis Vuitton, as she doesn’t strike me as an LV girl under Nicolas Ghesquière’s leadership, yet she picked the right look for her style, donning an ultra-feminine colourful Resort 2015 frock styled with the brand’s signature clutch for the season, and thankfully shunning those LV Fall 2014 booties for a safe pair of nude Louboutin pumps. You may remember that Gisele Bündchen wore a similar dress in a more vibrant hue during the 2014 World Cup.

Michelle Williams: Is it a top or a dress? Either way, this Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 contrast-print zipper-accented piece is dangerously short yet I admire Michelle for not wearing this look with the lace leggings/tights. Michelle, like Charlotte Gainsbourg and Jennifer Connelly, continues to be a very loyal ambassador for the brand. This is yet another leap outside her comfort zone, but one she pulls off with ease.

Miranda Kerr: The model, who has been trying to work an edgier angle of late, would’ve been expected to select an uber-feminine mini frock like Kate, yet she didn’t do the predictable, selecting a head-to-toe LV Spring 2015 look with a bit more bite.
