The Hollywood Foreign Press Association And InStyle Celebrate The 2015 Golden Globe Award Season Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle’s celebration of the 2015 Golden Globe awards season held at Fig & Olive Melrose Place on Thursday (November 20) in West Hollywood, California.
Abigail Spencer: The actress wore an oversized Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2014 suit styled with all-black accessories including the brand’s signature bow.
Isabel Lucas: The Australian beauty wore a navy jacquard Prabal Gurung Resort 2015 look with a dainty asymmetrical ruffled hemline. I can’t say I like the socks and open-toe booties pairing, but Isabel has always celebrated a slightly offbeat style.
Michelle Monaghan: Opting for a less is more approach, the gorgeous actress wore a colour-block Roksanda Spring 2015 frock styled with all-black accessories. At first I was longing for a bit more from Michelle, but looking at the red carpet, this simple stylish look was event appropriate.
Emily Ratajkowski: Looking as sultry as ever, the actress would’ve had jaws dropping upon sight of her Haney black long-sleeved dress with a draped neckline accented with multi-chain gold detailing. The look was styled with Kurt Geiger London ‘Belgravia’ sandals and a MICHAEL Michael Kors clutch.
Paz Vega: The Spanish actress is becoming quite the princess of darkness. This bold shoulder piece with a plunging neckline seems a world away from the daintier style she used to portray on the red carpet. The styling is off, not liking the two-tone Rodo clutch or the Charlotte Olympia platforms here, but this look is really all about the dress and that gorgeous face.
Tessa Thompson: There is a lot to celebrate in this Emanuel Ungaro frock, from its leather sleeves to the tonal appliqués along the hemline. It was one of the standout looks on this red carpet. Styled with a gold Swarovski vintage clutch, Oscar Tiye shoes and gold drop earrings and a black ring from the Juan Carlos Obando Collection by Atelier Swarovski, Tessa is starting to make impressive waves on the red carpet. I will have to keep my eye on her.
Annabelle Wallis: While this is a great Dolce & Gabbana leopard-print dress, it isn’t suited to her style at all. Those Dolce earrings were overkill. Can do, must do, better.
Darby Stanchfield: I simply adore this scrumptious deep navy-blue hue of her velvet Huishan Zhang dress. I was at first put off by the lace panels but they are growing on me. The look was styled with Kurt Geiger sandals and an Edie Parker clutch.
Kaitlyn Dever: Never far away from a bold print, I love this simple shirt, Co Fall 2014 rose-print palazzo pants combo, with a gorgeous fresh face to boot.
