Lily Aldridge In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 CMA Awards

Lily Aldridge In Calvin Klein Collection - 2014 CMA Awards

Lily Aldridge attended the 48th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 5) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The model wore a black custom Calvin Klein Collection long-sleeved tulle and silk cady gown which left little to the imagination.

Some may not get past the body-baring sheer panels and the lack of underwear needed to pull this look off, but I love this look for the way Lily plays down the blatant sex appeal, serving up a refined glamour topped off with effortless styling.

I can’t say I like this, but she doesn’t look tacky.

Tacky, try-hard dress we have seen many time before. Also not the appropriate event for it.

sorry, this is trashy, tacky and cheap looking to me. the sheer thing has to stop. it’s hideous.

This look is soooo tacky, she looks like a skinny Kim Kardashian

Done before and done better. Next.

The gown looks just bad. Hair and makeup are fine.

Its ok. I feel like ive seen this on her before (im sure I have). She sticks to her own style choice, but maybe she could have considered the event she was attending and taken the opportunity to try something new…

She’s a Victoria’s Secret Angel, if anyone can wear this, she can. It’s not the most classy of dresses but she’s the right person to carry it off. She’s beautiful and understated and doesn’t scream desperate and attention seeking on the red carpet like Miranda Kerr or someone. It’s risque but she’s able to find a balance for me.

I thought she looked great, it is indeed risque but her elegance pulls through this gown. Tailored to perfection.
Love her hair and makeup, was toned down to complement the dress, however not a easy dress to wear, not many can wear this and look good.

I agree. I never thought to like this but I do. Her beauty, the simple styling her overall presence won me over.

        I agree.

Totally agree. To me, she still manages to look refined, despite the sheerness.

UM this is not a good look

  11. Iva November 6, 2014 at 10:04 #

Don’t like the dress, but she does look beautiful.

Dreadful. There is nothing refined about this look. Cheap, vulgar, unnecessary, unattractive.

    • Nat39 November 6, 2014 at 10:10 #

The gown is extra tacky – both the contours of the solid part and the cheap-looking limit-exceeding sheer panels. I’m not gonna give this a pass, just b/c she is beautiful girl.

I wonder what Taylor Swift thought when she saw this.
