Kate Hudson’s Dyed Her Hair Pink In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness

American Cinematheque 28th Annual Award Presentation To Matthew McConaughey 2014 - ArrivalsCelebrity hair colourist Daniel Moon temporarily coloured Kate Hudson’s hair ballerina-pink, which the actress showcased during the 28th American Cinematheque Award ceremony which honoured Matthew McConaughey this week.

I have to say, I loved the new colour, but I love it even more now that I know the reason behind it.

The change is in support of her friends and family affected by breast cancer.

Kate posted a moving message on Instagram on October 17, writing: “In honor of my bestie Juliana, my assistant Kathy, my grandmother Laura, Mimo and all the people who are fighting and have fought breast cancer. Your courage shines and inspires. We decided to show our support by wearing pink proud! Thank you @majormoonn for taking us there #breastcancerawarenessmonth #familyfun #pinkpower #pinkproud #courage #showthelove #bcrf.”
