Get The Look: Dianna Agron’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event Hair & Makeup

Dianna Agron - CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund EventCelebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell and celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood worked with Dianna Agron for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event on Tuesday.

MAKEUP ARTIST GEORGIE EISDELL

Georgie explains her beauty inspiration: “For Dianna at the CFDA/Vogue event, I wanted a clean and effortless look that was modern.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Georgie started by prepping Dianna’s skin with IS Clinical Hydra Cool Serum and Orlane Super Moisturizing Light Cream.

Next she evened out Dianna’s skin with Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick. To give her skin a beautiful glow, she powdered with La Mer The Powder and then used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette on the high points of her face to give her that perfectly illuminated skin.

On the apples of her cheeks, Georgie used Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink.

On Dianna’s eyes, she washed over her lids with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette very lightly to create a glow, then applied two layers of YSL Faux Cils Mascara in Black and added individual Stilazzi Lashes for extra length and depth. She defined Dianna’s brows with Laura Mercier Brow Definer in Warm.

Finally, Georgie used NARS Lip Lacquer in Baby Doll for the perfect pout.

HAIRSTYLIST CHRISTIAN WOOD

Christian explains his inspiration: “I wanted to give the vintage-feeling dress a modern, sleek, tougher edge. A slicked-back deep side part with a simple low twist at the back was what we decided on.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Dianna washed and conditioned her hair with Fekkai Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. This gave a smooth, moistened base to the hair to make it malleable to work with.

While the hair was wet, Christian added a very generous amount of Oribe Gold Lust Serum throughout and used a tail comb to place the deep side part.

Next he used a Mason Pearson Brush to brush the hair as tightly as possible into a low ponytail and secured it with an elastic. He then twisted the ponytail into a knot at the nape of the neck and secured it with bobby pins to hold in place. Oribe Superfine Hairspray smoothed out any flyaways and gave the hair a subtle hold.

Lastly, he placed Fekkai Sheer Sculpt Gel on the tip of his finger and gently layered the product on the part and various other sections of the hair. This added a form of highlight that picked up under the light and gave a glossier, sleeker appearance.
