Naomi Watts In Gucci Première – ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ New York Film Festival Closing Night Gala Presentation

Naomi Watts In Gucci Première - ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ New York Film Festival Closing Night Gala Presentation

Naomi Watts attended the closing night gala presentation of ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ during the 52nd New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall on Saturday (October 11) in New York City, joining Emma Stone.

The actress looked radiant wearing a Gucci Première pale-grey lace and silk tulle long-sleeved gown featuring a sheer neckline, covered-button detail along the back, and a delicate train. This design epitomizes feminine glamour.

While I often like Naomi’s red carpet looks, I’m not often wowed by them unless during awards season. This, however, is firmly in the wow pile.

I don’t think she’s ever looked better.

I’m breathless. Will take a lot to beat this for bdotw

This doesn’t top her floral Zac Posen dress from 2012 but she does look really good.

This is positively beautiful from head to toe.

Glamorous and classy as always. It’s only Monday and I already have two BDOTW contenders (Naomi and Emmy Rossum) to add to my personal list!

Not her best look ever for me, but still very glamourous and gorgeous. It would’ve been even better in a rich colour.

Whoa. She looks exquisite and refined. The gown highlights her eyes perfectly, and I love the ruby earrings.

This is my favourite look of hers in a very, very long time, probably ever. I love how the intricate detailing of the dress goes together (against?) with the ‘laissez-fair’ hair (thanks, Marcel) and how the potentially tricky pale grey is softened by some well-placed points of colour and sparkle. Belongs into the BDOTW poll, easily.

Beautiful. But a bit overdressed for the ocassion.

  17. Marcel October 13, 2014 at 14:33 #

Lovely dress. I really like the laissez-faire hair . I grew tired of the ultra combed look.

  18. Christine October 13, 2014 at 14:28 #

Not liking the color of the dress. or her hair

  19. Iva October 13, 2014 at 14:27 #
