Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 Front Row

Louis Vuitton presented their Spring 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (October 1) to a mix of LV devotees and some new fans they have picked up along the way.

Jennifer Connelly: I was going to call Jennifer Connelly Nicolas Ghesquière’s biggest fan, but Charlotte Gainsbourg would dispute that. The actress selected an LV Resort 2015 black suit with red seams which on most I don’t think I would buy, mostly due to the leather neckline, but Jennifer sells the look to me with her confident pose and the elegance which oozes from every pore.

Charlotte Gainsbourg: The French beauty always nails it, this time working a Resort 2015 biker chic look which as always looks effortless. Even though I really dislike those front-zipper trousers, like Jennifer, Charlotte managed to sell this look to me in its entirety.

Michelle Williams: While Jennifer and Charlotte wear LV religiously, Michelle, who is the face of Louis Vuitton’s desirable bags for a third season, often wears the brand, selecting the easier pieces for her red carpet look. I found myself loving this sportier look from Michelle. The look feels fresh and effortless without compromising her style or the brand’s ethos.

Odeya Rush: For a split second I thought Odeya was Marion Cotillard. The red carpet newbie, who has impressed us with her glamorous style, opted for something with a bit more bite on this occasion. Her LV Resort 2014 laser-cut lace coat dress with a leather neckline was styled with the brand’s signature black and white pumps and chain-accented clutch. Along with Charlotte, this was one of my favourites from this front row. Where does it rank for you?

Sofia Coppola: As much as I love Sofia and her style, it can at times feel like groundhog day, so I was delighted to see her adding a dash of colour to the front row wearing a colourful printed LV dress styled with her self-designed LV clutch.

Selena Gomez: Wearing LV head to toe, this look is much preferred over her Balmain look from the previous night. This is cute with an edge and more in tune with her style. Sadly, I will never get on board with LV’s clunky ankle-strap pumps.

Haley Bennett: On her last outing we were unimpressed with her Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 look, and here she is delving into the collection again. Is this look much improved or still not to your liking? I will only save the shoes.

Miranda Kerr: Even with the deep plunge, I’m not that excited about Miranda’s LBD. I would’ve been more interested in seeing her wearing one of the more complicated pieces from the Resort 2015 collection. The accessories, including the leather pants, I do favour, however.
