Chanel Spring 2015 Front Row

Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel’s Spring 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 30) yesterday morning.

Elisa Sednaoui: The model brought some colour to the front row wearing a Chanel Resort 2015 ensemble with a distinct laidback vibe, which, as expected, she makes look chic and effortless.

Alexa Chung: As you know, Alexa has been impressing me of late with her red carpet choices, and I expected the same from this event; sadly, I was totally underwhelmed. It’s almost like no effort was put into this at all. The whole look is too boxy and not to my liking. She can do better, especially at Chanel.

Poppy Delevingne: The model/socialite also went down the easy breezy route, selecting a Chanel Resort 2015 red and white romper styled with gold sandals and a red Chanel bag. The look is effortless and chic and, most importantly, looks modern and elegant. She’s a great Chanel ambassador.

Leigh Lezark: While Leigh does opt for the Chanel tweeds from time to time, her look on this occasion was a lot more sporty, donning the shimmering eggplant crop top and leggings from the Fall 2014 collection styled with sneakers from the same collection and a link-chain belt accented with padlocks.

Astrid Berges-Frisbey: While the likes of Poppy and Elisa are breathing youthful energy into the brand, Astrid’s Chanel Fall 2014 Couture look feels stiff, boxy and rigid. She fails to breathe any life into it.

Anna Mouglalis: The French actress was, of course, in the front row, wearing a simple white and black shift dress which she edged up with a pair of lace-up Chanel booties. I wish Astrid and Anna had swapped looks.
