Zhang Ziyi In Lanvin – Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Gala

Zhang Ziyi In Lanvin - Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Gala

Zhang Ziyi joined Fan Bingbing on the red carpet this evening (September 19) for the Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Gala in China where she was the host.

While I was expecting an princess gown from Zhang Ziyi, she went left, and served up this laidback elegant Lanvin Resort 2015 look.

No bells, no whistles; just a achingly understated black and white silk blouse with a black maxi skirt oozing boho chic.

I love that she didn’t overdress, styling the look with some complementary accessories including a gold flower belt, silver jewels and Roger Vivier clutch.

Wavy tresses and a red lip rounded out her pitch perfect look.

J’adore. Some times less is more. Do you agree?

Don’t like the gold flower addition, looks strange. Otherwise it is a great look.

      Agree.

Love, flower and all. If Kristen Bell hadn’t already won my heart for BDOTW, I would have handed it over gladly to Zhang Ziyi. Different, digging the vibe.

Absolutely, completely agree. Bell got my heart, as well.

This is just effortless, breezy perfection. I’m surprised it’s Lanvin, actually.

I like the gold flower, it adds a little something extra, her hair is beautiful and the red lip is a perfect touch. I like this.

        Exactly. Not a good look

I agree. The look is very boring to begin with then you throw that odd pin on top of things and it just all goes completely downhill.
