Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at the dapper gents attending New York and Toronto Film Festival premieres this week.

Douglas Booth: The handsome continues to prove why we often hand him a best dressed title each time he steps out on the red carpet. With navy being the colour of the moment in menswear, the actor sets his own pace opting for a green Dolce & Gabbana three-piece suit styled with an Armani timepiece to the ‘Riot Club’ Toronto Film Festival premiere.

Rob Pattinson: The British actor was also staying true to his favourite brand: Gucci. I do love it when guys do something a bit different. Here Rob styles his navy notch-lapel two-button Marseille suit with a navy evening shirt and brown leather lace-ups while attending the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Maps Of The Stars’ on Tuesday (September 9). The colours couldn’t be more perfect as we slowly move towards autumn and the suit, as always, was a perfect fit. The usual dishevelment gave way to sleeker grooming, so this gets a thumbs up all round from me.

James McAvoy: The face of Prada’s Fall 2014 menswear collection attended the ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby’ New York premiere with his gorgeous co-stars Jessica Chastain and Jess Weixler on Wednesday (September 10). Like the aforementioned ladies, he also wore Prada, selecting a dark-grey kid-mohair suit which couldn’t be more impeccably tailored.

Jake Gyllenhaal: The brooding actor wore a Gucci grey peak-lapel two-button Heritage suit with a white dress shirt to the HFPA & InStyle’s 2014 TIFF Celebration on Saturday (September 6). Opting to go sans tie takes the stuffiness out of the look, as do the battered shoes.

Miles Teller: This look made me swoon. Miles looked impossibly handsome on the red carpet for the ‘Whiplash’ premiere during the 2014 Toronto Film Festival on Monday (September 8). Aside from loving the rich navy-blue hue and his smouldering glare, I love the classic cut and overall refinement of his Dolce & Gabbana suit styled with Christian Louboutin New Platers Fiori shoes. He never fails to deliver.

Sam Claflin: Opting for royal blue, the actor gives his Alexander McQueen look a heritage feel with a tartan tie.

Max Irons: The actor went for a more classic midnight-blue look joining his co-stars Douglas Booth and Sam Claflin on the red carpet at the ‘Riot Club’ Toronto Film Festival premiere.
