Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloë Sevigny were both on-hand for the Louis Vuitton ‘Series 1’ back-to-back events in Shanghai and Tokyo, celebrating designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s debut collection for the house, as well as the brand’s legacy. Outfitted in Louis Vuitton—natch—the girls made for a dynamic duo.

Shanghai

Adèle Exarchopoulos: The young French starlet was lovely in a Resort 2015 pink dress with a feminine flounced hem, paired with graphic, black-and-white pumps and a black Epi Petite-Malle clutch. The black accessories and the sporty zipper detailing on the dress keep this bubblegum look from venturing too sweet and twee. And, those shoes are everything here.

Chloë Sevigny: She also turned pastel-pink on its head, donning a Resort 2015 suit that had a retro-mannish appeal that I loved, what with with its buttons, exposed pockets and seaming. The galactic silver Vuitton bag and metallic pumps only added more quirk appeal, with the contrasting red belt and red lip the oh-so-right cherries on top.

Tokyo

Adèle Exarchopoulos: Switching to a darker colour palette, the actress debuted a Fall 2014 ensemble that was just as polished. The blue lace sweater featured an exploded zipper detail and white paneling for visual interest, while her A-line belted skirt was as chic as could be. More spunk came with the metallic-accented, ankle-strap pumps that Chloë wore in Shanghai.

Chloë Sevigny: Again taking a look from the Resort 2015 collection out for a spin, the actress went for a totally different fashion aesthetic, embracing a hyper-minimalist approach. She wore the ivory jumper and white turtleneck with barely-there makeup and a simple topknot. The accessories are what really breathed life into the look, with the statement box clutch and multi-strap sandals providing a finishing flourish.

I couldn’t help but be charmed by their pretty-in-pink moments. Which was your favourite?
